Gingivectomy Procedure

Gingivectomy

Healthy gums tight against the necks of the teeth are an important part of a beautiful smile but sometimes a gum problem can develop as the gums extended on to the front surface of the teeth. The natural balance between the length of the teeth and the height of the gums get lost. The first step in a gum reduction procedure is to be sure all the involved areas are completely numb, we then carefully make a small incision and remove the excess of gum tissue, after a couple of weeks the area will be completely healed.

A Gum reduction procedure is a safe and predictable way to remove excess of gum tissue and improve the natural appearance of a persons smile.
