An implant is an excellent way to replace a missing tooth and keep a good looking smile, a dental implant is a small titanium cylinder that is surgical inserted into the bone jaw to replace the root of a missing tooth and artificial tooth is attached to the implant. The last step is the placement of your new crown. The success of your implant depends on the care of the implant at home and our support for regular checkups and regular cleanings here in our office.

Directions for post-surgery care

  • No fat foods
  • No Alcohol
  • No Smoking
  • No Exercise
  • No Suction on the hole
  • Don’t put your tongue on the hole
  • Don’t expose to sun
  • Only eat soft foods
  • Take your medicine according to instructions
  • Rinse with salt water three times a day
  • Remove the gauze 40 minutes after the surgery
